Prepare To Work Safely In The Construction Industry (White Card)

course description

This unit applies to those working on or wanting to work on site-based roles, and covers the skills and knowledge required for working safely on site. This non-high risk certificated course is generally a mandatory requirement for employment within the construction industry or to access any domestic, commercial or industrial construction site.

Accreditation

Participants will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and Construction Induction White Card within 14 days of completing the course.

requirements

Participants will need to demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Please advise us if you have any LLN concerns or issues as support is available, and/or adjustments can be made to ensure you are not disadvantaged in completing this course.

Duration

The duration for this course is 6 hours, with classes starting at 8am.

re-Issuing cards

If you have completed a white card course already and are needing your white card re-issued, you must attempt to contact the RTO you originally did your training with first. If they are no longer operating, we can re-issue your card for you. You will need to provide either your Statement of Attainment or USI transcript as evidence of completing the course and a photo ID.

If you cannot attend any of the listed dates, or don’t see the course you would like to book listed, please contact us so we can arrange this for you.

Are you eligible for a CTF Rebate?

If you’re currently working in the civil construction industry, you may qualify for the CTF (Construction Training Fund) subsidy.

If you don’t currently qualify, you have up to 12 months to claim back with the CTF directly.
