Identify requirements for safe precast and tilt-up work

course description

This unit of competency specifies the skills and knowledge required to identify requirements for safe precast and tilt-up work in construction. It includes requirements for safe handling of prefabricated concrete elements such as precast wall panels, beams, columns and slabs.

Accreditation

Participants will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment within 14 days of completing the course.

Participants will need to demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Please advise us if you have any LLN concerns or issues as support is available, and/or adjustments can be made to ensure you are not disadvantaged in completing this course.

Duration

The duration for this course is 6 hours, with classes starting at 8am.

Standard Fee: $370 | With CTF Rebate: $184

Are you eligible for a CTF Rebate?

If you’re currently working in the civil construction industry, you may qualify for the CTF (Construction Training Fund) subsidy.

If you don’t currently qualify, you have up to 12 months to claim back with the CTF directly.
