Conduct Tip Truck Operations

course description

This unit is appropriate for those working in supervisory and technical specialist roles, and covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct tip truck operations in the Resources and Infrastructure industries.

Skills and knowledge that must be demonstrated to pass this unit include:

  • Planning and preparing for tip truck operations.

  • Conducting tip truck pre-operational checks.

  • Operating tip truck.

  • Loading, transporting, and tipping materials.

  • Carrying out operator maintenance.

  • Cleaning up.

Accreditation

Participants will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment within 14 days of completing the course.

requirements

Participants will need to demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Please advise us if you have any LLN concerns or issues as support is available, and/or adjustments can be made to ensure you are not disadvantaged in completing this course.

There are no other prerequisites to enrol in this course.

Duration

The duration for this course is 8 hours, running from 8am - 4pm.

If you’re currently working in the civil construction industry, you may qualify for the CTF (Construction Training Fund) subsidy.

If you don’t currently qualify, you have up to 12 months to claim back with the CTF directly.
