course description

This unit applies to those working on or wanting to work on site-based roles. A forklift ticket is a mandatory requirement for any forklift operations within Western Australia. This HRWL course complies with OHS and WHS licensing legislation compliance requirements, and covers the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift.

accreditation

Candidates will receive a Statement of Attainment and a Notice of Assessment to perform high-risk work as an interim licence within 14 days of course completion. WorkSafe will send students their High-Risk Work Licence directly.

requirements

Participants will need to demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Please advise us if you have any LLN concerns or issues as support is available, and/or adjustments can be made to ensure you are not disadvantaged in completing this course.

Participants will need to be a minimum of 18 years of age to enrol in this course.

duration

This course is generally completed over two-days as there is a lot to cover. However, we do offer a one-day option for those who already have a HRWL, or have not operated in a while and need a refresher. Our classes generally run from 8am - 4pm. Feel free to contact us if you are unsure which option would be most suitable for you.
